...to tell people I was getting married! Well, there it is! I'm getting married!! (some people might find that harder to believe than others!)

So far it's been great. I'm currently planning everything out which is actually less stressful that I thought it was gonna be. Never said other people aren't stressed out about it though.

If you want more details send me a note or send me an email. I think my email addy is on here. If not, send me a note on here and I can get it to you! :D Or you could just send me a note in the first place. Trust me, I check this enough to reply back fairly quickly. :D

I think I will post pics of the wedding on here after it happens. Woo!

It's been forever, art is a hobby and NIN

since I've posted a journal on here. omg. long long long time...like two years ago. So, update! I've posted art in the past two years. I think I'm a better and more experienced artist. I'm now working on my thesis to get my degree in Art History, specifically studying Medieval Art. I wish I could take more art classes...but they actually are stressful and somewhat mundane for me. I don't like being told who/what/when/where/why about my art. Especially when no one is paying! I don't like to pay to make art, then get told how to do it. :( Maybe I'm silly. Oh well. That is why my art is a hobby. Plus. I find that my art is better when I get to choose what it is and how long I get to work on it for. It's all for me!!!

Anyway...end of 'rant' I just wanted to update this thing because I hadn't in two years and it was embarrassing. I'm so bad at updating things. :-P

Oh, and I'm super excited. I just got tickets to see Nine Inch Nails on the 18th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yipeee! I needed a vacation! So, while I'm in DFW planning my wedding and working on my thesis more, I get to go see one of my fav. bands. :D

Summer Time

So it appears that I have more time to post artwork here durring the summer. I might as well stick to that. Although this year is going to be different up at TTU - I'm moving into a house my parents bought for me! So - I might have more time for my lovely DA gallery.

I totaly thought that it would be easier to just put up some of my studio stuff from the past semesters. Yeah, I totaly forgot how HUGE some of those works can and will end up. Professors seem to just love work that borders on mural size. I have no idea how I'm going to document pieces like that other than my digital camera because I'm sure not going to pay the architecture dept. money for a scan.

Anyway - now that I'm back and broken-foot-less I shall have more art and if anyone has a request - feel free to send it my way!

I'm also currently working on a comission for a friend - so things might be slow until that is finished.
